Falcons plan more PSL prices, from $500 to $5,500
The Atlanta Falcons, who previously set prices of $10,000 to $45,000 for personal seat licenses on club seats in their new stadium, plan to unveil sharply lower prices Tuesday for the rest of the building.
The stadium’s 60,000-plus non-club seats will carry PSLs — one-time fees for the right to buy season tickets — ranging from $500 to $5,500, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has learned.
The proposed prices are subject to approval by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority board, which will review them at a special called meeting Tuesday morning.
Since January, the Falcons have been selling club seats, located in the lower bowl between the 20-yard lines and the mezzanine level roughly between the 35-yard lines. The plan the Falcons will present to the GWCCA proposes PSL prices averaging about $2,500 for the rest of the stadium:
Lower bowl: $5,500 for sideline seats between the goal lines and the 20-yard lines; $3,500 for corner seats; $3,000 and $2,500 for end-zone seats.
Mezzanine level: $5,500 for sideline seats between the goal lines and the 35-yard lines; $2,500 for corner and end-zone seats.
Upper bowl: $2,000 and $1,750 for sideline seats from 5-yard line to 5-yard line; $1,500 and $1,250 for goal-line corner seats; $500 for end-zone seats.
Falcons seat-license sales require a down payment of 10 percent.

We were STH with 3 seats until 2010, when we decided to ramp up our international travel, instead of spending thousands on tickets, parking and crappy GA Dome concessions...not to mention the traffic jams going to and coming home from games. We're still Falcons fans and get to an occasional game or watch on TV; however, we don't regret for one moment our decision to make travel memories vs. season tix. I'm sure that the new stadium will be stunning and a great place to watch games; however, I'm also sure that the pricing structure for tickets plus the PSL prices will be deal-breakers for other fans with less disposable income.

I dunno...It's not that hard or expensive to get good tix to most Falcons games. I just don't think I'd have the desire to dump a ton of cash for that even if I lived close enough to justify it.
