Eagles say Riley Cooper calendar flap wasn't their fault
The Philadelphia Eagles say it's not their fault that a photo of wide receiver Riley Cooper is featured in their 2015 calendary on February, Black History Month.
Cooper appeared in an online video two years ago where he used racial slurs during a concert. Cooper took a leave of absence and apologized.
"We do not oversee the production of the annual team calendar," the Eagles said in statement. "We do not provide any input about the players who are featured or where those pictures appear in the calendar. The NFL licenses the production of that calendar to a third party, and we do not have an opportunity to review the material."
