Justin Blackmon pleads no contest to marijuana charge
Indefinitely suspended Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon plead no contest today to a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge in Oklahoma.
The former Oklahoma State wide receiver was caught with three grams of marijuana in July during a traffic stop. Blackmon's case will be reduced to disorderly conduct if he stays out of trouble for six months.
Blackmon has completed a voluntary drug rehab program.
Drafted fifth overall in 2012, Blackmon has been suspended for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy. He has previous arrests for driving under the influence
“I don’t anticipate he will have any problems,” lawyer Robert Gray said. “He’s going back to training and hopefully looks forward to reinstatement.”
