Bengals sticking with Mike Nugent
The Cincinnati Bengals are sticking with struggling kicker Mike Nugent despite his miss on a potential game-winning field goal in a 37-37 tie in overtime to the Carolina Panthers.
“Yeah, still the same feelings,” Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said. “We’ve got to make the kicks, though. Mike has a couple of jobs to get done, and that’s one of them."
Nugent has hit just 11 of 17 kicks this season.
