Not going to create a new thread for each game, so I'll do this as a lineup of PS4 games that I've been playing recently.
Batman: Arkham Knight - I bought this last month because the games that I'm interested in aren't going to be released until November. Not my typical style of game - I never played the others in the series - but heard great reviews. I have to say that I'm blown away by how good this game is. The story is unbelievably good and the dialogue is well-written. The gameplay is fantastically fun and challenging. It's more open world than I expected, as well. I highly recommend this one.
Borderlands: The Handsome Series - Nothing new here except upgraded graphics. If you haven't played Borderlands 2 in awhile, it's worth revisiting. But it's a serious time suck.
Life is Strange - Still waiting for the last episode, but damn this is a great game. Episodic and compelling story with the cool time-manipulation twist.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection - Haven't played anything in the Uncharted series since I had a PS3 many years ago. It's pretty good and brings back some memories. Mainly wanted to go back through the storyline in advance of the Uncharted 4 game out next year.
The Elder Scrolls Online - It's Elder Scrolls on steroids, but the graphics are just meh. I love the open world sandbox, and the plots are pretty good (you get three different stories depending on which side you choose in the war). They ramped down some of the cool fighting systems from Skyrim, so it's sort of Skyrim light with the tradeoff of a MASSIVE world to explore. It was fun to go back to Morrowind and Daggerfall. The capital city quests aren't that great, but then I didn't buy it for the coop play. If you're into the MOORP stuff, then you'll probably love it. I'm doing almost completely solo play, and it's still a helluva lot of fun. But it's not equivalent to a full blown Elder Scrolls game. Can't wait for Elder Scrolls 6: Argonian to come out.
Never Alone - Very cute puzzler with some educational material about Native American heritage thrown in. Can be very challenging in the later puzzles, but still a fun game.
Upcoming Games that I can't wait to play:
Star Wars: Battlefront
Fallout 4
Firewatch - cool indie game set in Wyoming...looks really funny and engaging.
So what are you peeps up to in terms of video games?
