I've had Trout and others harping on me to make a new MB. Was not gonna because of the shenanigans involved..bit today on the official board there was some serious hosery going on. So here it is,..simply. I'll work on improving it as we go.
BUT, it's kinda up up to you guys to get members here and make it work and make it run...so I'll try to uphold my end by improving it as we go and trying not to be an asshat.

The only way I'm gonna drop much on this is if I go over bandwith..(Kinda doubtful at this point) or if any ads annoy members so I have to pay for ad free. No complaints yet so I'm good.

For those that don't know, I was AcworthFalcFan/Trout_Farm over at the AFMB.

Thanks for putting this together. Let us know if you need anything for improvement (time, money, cuddles, etc). Regarding the official board, those guys were just out of their league in terms of handling this. They don't have the background for that kind of transition and it turned into a PR disaster. People told them it what problems would be created and they ignored that advice. I don't think Tuggle and Banker are bad guys, but Tuggle in particular was thrust into a bad situation that he partly made worse with his defensive and bull-headed attitude. I sympathize with them, but at least some good can come out of it by way of prompting you to bring back FFF. Hopefully we can get this place hopping soon! |

Honestly it is the Mods fault to begin with.. they let people like Truth Hurts, Doozer, SB and others of that ilk have their run of the place.... Even Snak for a while.
I did not like Snak's posting style at all but the fact they banned him and let that no talent ass clown SB stick around for years is ENTIRELY on the mods.
The fact that the mods picked and chose who would get the ban hammer was patently stupid.
I like Tuggle a lot, he is a good poster and seems like a genuinely good dude but he did not handle the ABF deal well at all.

I probably shouldn't have jumped on him like I did, but honestly I couldn't sit there knowing how badly the mods had screwed that forum up with the shenanigans and let him put all the blame on the members, many of us who have been calling for them to address the problem posters for years. I'm not perfect and I defended snake long after he deserved it. But if they had listened to the community, things would have been a lot better, a lot sooner. |
