Bushmill's is my go-to. Always keep a handle in the cabinet.
Not as big on bourbon as some of you guys, but my sister got me a bottle of 1792 Ridgemont Reserve for my birthday that I think is purty tasty.

Anyone ever tried Famous Grouse? I've never been much of a hard liquor drinker, but wouldn't mind dabbling in a bit of Scotch. What is a good entry level?

I've had the Grouse. It's on par with Dewar's or J&B as a decent, cheap, blended scotch. Might want to chip in an extra $5 and get Johnnie Walker Red, but it's not bad at all.

What is a good entry level? for a good scotch experience, I would say Glenfiddich 12 year to start. That will run you $35-$40 if you can find it, a cheap good quality blend is Great King Street...about $22 if you can find it Scotland is broken up into different regions for scotch and each region has its own distinct flavor. Most people cut their teeth on Speyside scotches My favorite, Lagavulin, comes from the Islay region

just cracked open the Tullamore Dew Phoenix I got for Christmas this stuff is 110 proof. poured it neat over some bourbon rocks. the five seconds of taste was quite nice and then there was nothing but pain once I added a little bit of water it smoothed out and was really enjoyable
