Tony Romo suffers broken left collarbone
PHILADELPHIA – With Tony Romo down, the Dallas Cowboys’ task just got a lot tougher.
The star quarterback left Sunday’s game against the Eagles in the third quarter with a broken left collarbone, the team announced.
This, a week after star receiver Dez Bryant suffered a fractured foot.
Romo’s 2010 season ended with a fractured left collarbone. The most recent injury occurred as Romo was driven to the turf by linebacker Jordan Hicks, after he fumbled while heavily pressured.
Brandon Weeden replaced Romo with the Cowboys leading, 13-0. Romo completed 18 of 27 passes for 195 yards before the injury.
